Our Message:
God wants us to know that we can go to Heaven, but we must do it by God’s divine plan. We are all sinners (Romans 3:23). Because of our sin we are under the penalty of sin, death (Romans 6:23). This penalty means eternal separation from a loving God in an eternal Hell. God does not want anyone to go to Hell so He sent His only Son to die in our place and pay sin’s penalty for us (Romans 5:8). God loves us so much, He made a way for our sins to be forgiven. We can be forgiven by recognizing that we are a sinner and ask God to forgive and save us. This forgiveness and salvation is offered freely as a gift (Romans 6:23). God bought this gift by the blood of Christ on the Cross. Like any gift, it is not yours until you choose to receive it. You can receive this gift through faith (Romans 10:9). You must believe in your heart and call on the Lord to save you (Romans 10:13). Will you pray right now and ask God to save you from your sin?
What we believe:
Doctrine of Creation: We believe in six , twenty-four hour days, God created light, the heavens, the earth, plants, animals, man and all other natural things. On the seventh day of the week God rested, signifying to us the importance of setting aside a day for the Lord. (Genesis 1-2).
Doctrine of Trinity: We believe in the three-fold Godhead, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Three individuals, yet one God. (I John 5:7, Matthew 28:19, John 15:26)
Doctrine of Sin: Sin is the very thing that separates God and man. Sin was created by Adam and Eve when they disobeyed God and chose to eat the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Because of this sin, all mankind became natural born sinners. The payment for sin is death. (Genesis 2:16-17, 3:6, Romans 5:12)
Doctrine of Man: We believe that God created man in His image and likeness on the sixth day of creation. (Genesis 1:26 -28)
Doctrine of the Church: We believe in the local, autonomous church, founded upon Christ and the Word of God. We believe that it is made up of its members who have been saved and baptized biblically by immersion. We believe that such a person is then to be loyal to their local assembly, their pastor that God has placed as their undershepherd, and to the other members. We believe the mission of the church is to spread the Gospel of Christ. (Colossians 1:18)
Doctrine of the Scriptures: We believe that the scriptures of both the Old & New Testaments are the complete, revealed, and inspired Word of God that He has chosen to give us. We believe that the King James Version of the Bible is the perfect, inerrant word of God for English speaking people. (II Timothy 3:16)
Doctrine of Salvation: We believe that all men are sinners and the punishment for sin is death. God created a way for sinners to be redeemed of their sin. This salvation is through the blood atonement of Jesus Christ, God’s only Son. Christ came to this earth, born of a virgin, and lived a sinless life. Christ was put to death on the cross, yet rose again three days later, victorious over sin, death, the grave, and hell. Salvation can only be gained by grace, through faith in Christ as your personal Saviour and the repentance of sins. It is only through the blood of Christ that we can have this so great a Salvation, the precious gift of eternal life and a home in heaven. (I John 1:23, Matthew 1:23, Ephesians 1:7, Ephesians 2:8))
Doctrine of Heaven: We believe in a literal place called Heaven. This is the place where the throne of God is presently located, the place where the saints of God go upon their death, and a place of great wonder and beauty. It is here that Jesus has promised to prepare a place for all the children of God to spend eternity in God’s presence. (John 14:1-3, Acts 7:49, Matthew 23:22, Mark 11:26)
Doctrine of Hell: Just as we believe in a literal place called Heaven, we believe in a literal place called Hell. This is a place of much torment where those that are not saved go upon their death. Those in Hell will spend an eternity absent from God. (Luke 16:23-25, Habakkuk 2:5, Revelation 20:13- 14)
Doctrine of the Blood Atonement: We believe ur sins have been paid for through Jesus Christ’s blood spilling on the cross. This was the only satisfactory payment for the sins of the world. Christ died and shed His blood that we might be atoned for. Through His sacrifice, God is satisfied. (Romans 5:8-19, I John 1:7, Revelation 1:5)
Doctrine of Missions: We believe in the New Testament teachings of spreading the Gospel to the whole world. God tells us to go out to the world with the good news of salvation through Christ. We also find in the New Testament, the act of separating believers to go and be the messenger for the local church. We believe the support of missions should be on the forefront of the church. (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15, Acts 1:8, 13:2-5)
Ordinance of Baptism: We believe that the ordinance of Baptism is what sets us apart as Baptist, and is important to adhere to as it is Biblical. Baptism by immersion is shown in the scriptures, which are our final authority, and is a picture of what Christ did for us. It is the first step of obedience in a new believer's life, and upon baptism can then be joined to a local church and enjoy the nurture of that assembly. (Matthew 3:16, 28:19, Acts 2:41, 8:36-39, Galatians 3:27)
Ordinance of the Lord's Supper: Christ instituted the Lord's Supper for believers to partake in as a remembrance of what He did for us on the cross. We partake in the broken unleavened bread in remembrance of His body, broken for us. We partake in the unfermented grape juice in remembrance of His blood, shed for us. (Matthew 26:26-30, Mark 14:22-26, Luke 22:19-20, I Corinthians 11:23-32)

What about my children?
We welcome children of any age to take part in our services! We have classes specifically for children during Sunday school and the option for Children’s Church available during the main service. Some choose to keep their infants/children with them while others choose to partake in the separate classes and nursery. Either way, we are happy to have you and your family take part in our service! (We love to hear children crying during service because it’s better to have them cry in church than to cry at home!)
Should I bring my bible?
Yes! We strongly encourage you to bring your King James Bible as we teach and preach based on scripture. We also have bibles available if needed.
Is there a dress code?
Nope! We have no strict dress code for services. We want you to feel comfortable and focus on the message. Many of our members choose to wear their “Sunday best” - suit and tie for men and dresses for women.
